The Ballarat Begonia Festival has a long and rich history, beginning in 1953, with now over 60,000 visitors enjoying the event over the March Long Weekend.

The festival program offers an array of exciting activities for both adults and children, involving the community in a healthy, free, outdoor nature experience.

Across the three day festival you can enjoy Costa Georgiadis and Sophie Thomson from Gardening Australia and dirtgirl from famous ABC Kids show 'Dirtgirlword', celebrity Chef Poh Ling Yeow, 2019 MasterChef finalists Tim Bone and Anushka Zargarya, PowerFM Begonia Parade along Wendouree Parade, ABC kids' favourite blue heeler Bluey and magician Barry Govan, and much much more.
